While it was originally developed in the early 1960s, this classic waterfront community is still one of the most sought-after locations on Longboat Key today. Built in five phases, Country Club Shores is one of the few single-family neighborhoods on this prestigious barrier island. With its deepwater canals opening to a shimmering expanse of Sarasota Bay, this picturesque vintage neighborhood offers premier water access. While the architecture in Country Club Shores began with an "old Florida" feel, many of the older residences have been restored or replaced with a varying styles. In addition to the great boating water access, deeded beach access is also available to all the residents. Conveniently located at the south end of Longboat Key, the shopping and dining of both St. Armands Circle and downtown Sarasota are only moments away.
